We will fabricate your cabinetry to your dimensions in either Face Frame or Full access (Euro Style) construction unfinished. This method allows you to save money on the finishing process and still obtain quality-built cabinetry.
The normal specifications are mentioned as follows:
Casework, including shelving are fabricated from 3/4" Maple veneer plywood with your choice of either 1/4" or 1/2" backs. Rear mounted nailers, which are always securely screwed to the case are a must for 1/4" backs, however can be an option for 1/2" backs. If you choose to omit these nailers on 1/2" backs, the backs will be securely screwed to the case and not just stapled.
Drawer boxes are 3/4" maple veneer plywood that has been edgebanded, You can option for either plant on bottoms (securely secured to the bottom of the drawer boxes, or you may request that your drawer boxes receive a grooved-in bottom at an increase in cost. You can choose either 1/4" or 1/2" thick maple veneer plywood.
The exterior of the case face edges are either banded with a matching exterior specie banding for Euro style or framed with solid wood of the exterior specie for Face Frame construction.
All hinges are quality concealed hinges manufactured by Julius-Blum of Austria. Face Frame hinges may be any overhang that you request. Euro style construction may be either half overlay or full overlay.
Drawer runners may be either side mounted full extension slides, manufactured by Accuride or you may option for the less expensive Euro style white epoxy partial extension slides.
Ready to finish ends for Face Frame construction are 1/4" plywood skins which match the requested exterior specie and are applied to the case leaving a 1/8" reveal where the face frame overlaps the end. On Euro style construction the ready to finish ends are of either 3/4" veneer plywood or MDF, which ever is available and also match the requested exterior specie. These ends are applied to the end and extend forward, flush with the cases door thickness.
The interior of the case work can either be left unfinished or you may option to have us flat finish it with clear finish prior to assembly for an additional charge.
